Sunlight and plants
The windows of the common area on the ground floor face the south side, so a lot of sunlight shine the inside the guesthouse on a sunny day. The plants placed here and there are the wild grasses that the staff has collected in the fields.
Recycle and reuse
Most of the furniture and fixtures such as tables, sofas and chairs are recycled. We are reusing items with a background, such as furniture sold at the relocated local community center, items carried from J-Hoppers affiliated stores, and items received from friends of the store manager and his wife.
DIY renovation
The exterior walls of the building and the walls and ceiling on the ground floor were renovated by ourselves. If you look closely, you will find some faults, but ... we remember working by sweating, so we are very attached to it.
